Williamsburg Bridge – street art New York | Art Is Trash

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

This clip from 2022-11-09 shows a street piece by Art Is Trash, the project of Barcelona-based artist Francisco de Pájaro. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by.
